A bit about me
It’s always nice to know a bit about the person you’re coming to see. I’m Phillippa Jane, a massage therapist based in Weston-super-Mare, offering massage and wellbeing support tailored to your needs.
Before training as a massage therapist, I worked in project management and operations for creative companies, helping businesses run efficiently. Becoming a massage therapist didn’t cross my mind until one morning I woke up thinking about it — and I haven’t looked back since!
I began my massage journey in 2017, and since then I’ve attended workshops to deepen my understanding of the human body and therapeutic touch. This includes deep tissue techniques, shoulder pain release, hot stone massage, and more.
I trained in pregnancy massage to help ease growing pains and promote relaxation, and in Oncology massage to provide gentle, supportive touch for those going through or recovering from cancer treatment. My aim is to offer massage to as many people as possible, safely and thoughtfully.
Outside the treatment room, I enjoy spending time at my allotment, going to the gym, playing with clay, or creating dried flower pieces (some available in my studio). I try to lead a balanced, healthy, and creative life, always aiming to be sustainable — in work and at home.
I understand that visiting a massage therapist for the first time, or after a less-than-great experience, can feel daunting. I’m happy to chat before your appointment to explain my approach and ensure a safe, comfortable space.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your needs, please get in touch.
