About Phillippa Jane |Massage & Wellbeing in Weston-super-Mare
It’s always nice to know a bit about the person you’re coming to see. I’m Phillippa Jane, a massage therapist based in Weston-super-Mare, offering massage and wellbeing support tailored to your needs.
Before training as a massage therapist, I worked in project management and operational roles for creative companies, helping businesses run efficiently. The idea of becoming a massage therapist didn’t cross my mind until one morning I woke up thinking about it — and I haven’t looked back since.
I began my massage journey in 2017, and since then I’ve attended workshops to deepen my understanding of the human body and therapeutic touch. This includes deep tissue techniques, shoulder pain release, hot stone massage, and more.
I aim to make massage accessible to as many people as possible. That’s why I trained in pregnancy massage, helping ease growing pains and promote relaxation, and Oncology massage, providing gentle, supportive touch for those going through or recovering from cancer treatment.
Outside the treatment room, you’ll often find me at my allotment, enjoying fresh produce and flowers, out walking or creating dried flower pieces. (some are available to purchase in my studio).
I know that visiting a massage therapist for the first time, or after an experience that wasn’t right, can feel daunting. I’m happy to have a conversation before your appointment to explain my approach and ensure a safe, comfortable space for you.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your needs, please get in touch.
